Pawsome Pals Animal Rescue provides trapping and rescue services for animals that are lost, wandering or at risk for danger.
Our Trap & Rescue Program
Kaufman County, Texas is a known animal dumping area and many strays are often seen running loose. Pawsome Pals Animal Rescue is very involved with trapping and capturing dogs in danger and bringing them to safety. We work together with shelters and other rescues in Dallas and East Texas to assist with getting these dogs off of the streets, vetted back to good health and into safe places. Pawsome Pals Animal Rescue works tirelessly as it is never-ending hard work, dedication and love for the animals. Talty’s Story
On January 6th, I was told about a dog sleeping on cardboard. The road was a very busy Farm Road in Kaufman. When I got there, he was laying on a mattress but immediately ran into the tall grass. I started leaving food and water but in a two month period only saw him 4 times from a distance.
We sat up a camera a shelter. We saw him all the time on the cameras. Someone stole the original kennel for shelter so we had to replace it. Several times a day he would come to eat. Night times were scary with all of the critters. He disappeared for 2 weeks during high waters but came back. We tried trapping 3 different days. He was a no show on one, trap malfunctioned once but the third time was the lucky one!
This boy was timid and we are not sure why he was on the road alone. Sadly, one claimed him. We were told that in December a lady took his buddy but left him. This boy has such a sweet and quirky personality. He’s now completely vetted and would love a foster or adoptive home to call his own. We are thankful that he is safe!
